This piece is a cold-connection pendant, I think it looks nice and simple, also a
great way to set a beach stone into the jewellery piece.

It was during the Meroitic Period (250-100 B.C) and had spiritual and ceremonial significance during that period.  It is very decorative with geometrical patterns and it also has a gold enamel of the goddess Hathor. BOOKS AS LANDSCAPEs

Carved Book Landscapes by Guy Laramee

Guy Laramee is an artist that created BOOKS AS LANDSCAPES. He has worked as a director, composer, painter and writer. Laramee uses books in a creative special way,
He believes through out history some cultures around the globe emerge and vanish leaving people of those cultures displaced and destroyed. So in his works he demonstrates that books are still relevant even in this day and age by carving landscapes and lost cultures into books. The difference between a book and reading something online is that a book can be more intimate and personal.

Cutting Edges: Contemporary Collage

Cutting Edges is a collection of artistic work that unites unrelated elements to create something new. The theme is kind of abstract and has lot's of visual elements to it, and has helped inspired me to be creative visually in my own works.

The Fundamentals of Typography

The Fundamentals of Typography is a book that offers an insight into detailed presentations and illustrations of Typography. The theme of this book is appealing because of the creative written language and slogans.
Some ideas I learnt from this book was, you can still be creative with written language and slogans and not necessarily depend on visual images.
